VETPA Drivers, LLC has a proprietary program of initial and continuous training. The objective is to promote safe driving practices, develop and adhere to safe operating procedures, encourage and reward driver “professionalism”, and provides a verifiable "audit trail", accessible in real time, as proof of training, which is maintained by an independent provider thereby reducing the number and severity of accidents and the potential for law suits based upon inadequate driver training.
VETPA Training is reserved for the exclusive use of VETPA, its clients, or its licensed agents. Initial training and on-going training, not less frequently than four (4) times in any twelve (12) month period, is mandatory for all VETPA drivers in order to maintain a “Qualified Driver” status.
VETPA training curriculum is a combination of safe driving/accident prevention information provided by insurers, and proven instructional techniques and methods. The objective is to promote safe driving practices, develop and adhere to safe operating procedures, encourage and reward driver “professionalism”, thereby reducing the number and severity of accidents. All instructors are former drivers and are currently instructors. Some have been certified by quasi-government entities such as the National Safety Council.
